Chakra is a Sanskrit term meaning circle or wheel. There is a wide literature on chakra models, philosophy and lore that underpin many philosophical systems and spiritual energy practices, religious observance and personal discipline. Theories on chakras fit within systems that link the human body and mind into a single unit, sometimes called the bodymind. The philosophical theories and models of chakras as centers of energy were identified through the mystical practice of yoga in Ancient India where they were first codified.
There are seven types of chakra as you can see on the image above. And I will explain them all in a very quick way!
The Crown Chakra
Color: White or Violet
Primary Functions: Union, Bliss, Sense of empathy
Associated Element: Space/Thought
Location: Top of the head
Open or Balance: Meditation, guided visualization, energy, work
Foods: Air, Incense and Smudging Herbs

Color: Indigo
Primary Functions: Concentration, Intuition, Imagination, Visualization
Associated Element: Time/Light
Location: Between the eyebrows
Open or Balance: Meditation, Guided Visualization.
Foods: Dark bluish colored fruits, Liquids, Spices
The Throat Chakra
Color: Azure Blue
Primary Functions: Creativity, Communication, Expression, Synthesis, Hearing
Associated Element: Life/Sound
Location: Base of the throat
Open or Balance: Sing, Chant, Breathe consciously.
Foods: Liquids, Tart or tangy fruits, Other tree grown fruits, Spices
The Heart Chakra
Color: Green
Primary Functions: Love, Wisdom, Perseverance, Mental Patience, Compassion, Touch

Location: Center of the chest
Open or Balance: Meditating, Practising yoga or other Bodily Techniques, by swimming regularly (because water has healing powers)

The Solar Plexus Chakra
Color: Yellow
Primary Functions: Will, Determination, Personal Power, Laughter, Joy, Anger, Sight
Associated Element: Fire
Location: Located at the mouth of the stomach
Open or Balance: Rub your belly, become aware of the energy radiating from your solar plexus, breathe using your diaphragm.
Foods: Granola and Grains, Dairy, Spices
The Sacral Plexus Chakra
Color: Orange
Primary Functions: Creativity, Sexual Energy (for women), Desire, Pleasure, Taste
Associated Element: Water
Location: The lower belly
Open or Balance: Sexual healing, try new ways of expressing yourself creatively, dance, move your hips, practice yoga
Foods: Sweet fruits, Raw Honey, Nuts, Spices
The Root Chakra
Color: Red or Coral Red
Primary Functions: Survival, Grounding, Sexuality (for men), Stability, Smell
Associated Element: Earth
Location: The base of the spine
Open or Balance: Spend some time each day sitting directly on the earth. Dance!
Foods: Root vegetables, Protein-rich foods, Spices

Cambodian police investigating the deaths of at least six people in traffic accidents have arrested a suspect - a cow.
Pin Doman, a police chief based on the outskirts of Cambodia's capital, Phnom Penh, said the animal is thought to have caused a series of crashes over the past year.
He said the cow's owner could also face a six-month prison term under a new traffic law that holds people responsible for accidents caused by their animals.
The white 5-ft tall cow was standing in the middle of a main road on Monday when a 66-year-old motorcyclist crashed into it and died. It is not known whether or not the beast was injured.
Imagine that, the world´s gone mad, now a killer cow?
